Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 July 2026
AI creative service
Results are generated by AI and can vary. Review an image before publishing, printing, or relying on it.
Use content responsibly
Upload only content you may use and do not create unlawful, harmful, infringing, or deceptive material.
Unused packs are refundable
A paid one-time token bundle can be refunded while completely unused. First use ends that extra promise.
1. Who We Are and These Terms
These Terms govern access to EditMyPet, including our website, accounts, AI image tools, saved content, galleries, contests, one-time purchases, Pet Club memberships, and support services. "EditMyPet", "we", "us", and "our" mean the service operator identified below.
- Service operator
- EditMyPet
- support@editmypet.com
By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the policies incorporated into them: our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and, when buying or using tokens, our Token Purchase and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility and Consumer Purchases
You must be at least 13 to use EditMyPet. If you are under 18, you may make a purchase only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian. A parent or guardian who permits a minor to use the service is responsible for supervising that use.
You must give accurate information at checkout. Before you place an order, we show the product or plan, token or feature amount, price, currency, billing interval where relevant, and material cancellation terms. Our payment provider processes payment details; EditMyPet does not receive your full card number.
3. The AI Service
EditMyPet uses generative AI to transform pet photographs using selected scenes, styles, prompts, and other controls. Outputs are probabilistic. They may contain artifacts, incorrect anatomy, changed markings, unexpected content, or similarities to content produced for someone else. We do not promise that an output is unique, factually accurate, fit for a particular purpose, or eligible for intellectual-property protection.
You are responsible for reviewing each output and deciding whether your intended use is lawful and appropriate, including any third-party, platform, advertising, contest, or labelling rules that apply.
4. Accounts and Security
You are responsible for activity on your account and for protecting your sign-in method. Do not share access, sell an account, or allow someone to use your account to evade restrictions. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access. We may require reasonable verification before changing account or payment information.
5. Your Content and Outputs
You retain any rights you already hold in photographs, prompts, and other material you submit ("Inputs"). You confirm that you have all rights and permissions needed to upload the Input and allow it to be processed by us and our providers. Do not upload a person's image, private information, or other protected material without permission.
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, copy, transmit, transform, and otherwise process Inputs and generated outputs only as reasonably needed to provide, secure, moderate, troubleshoot, and support the service, comply with law, and exercise our rights under these Terms. This licence lasts for as long as the relevant content is stored, plus a reasonable period for backups, disputes, and legal compliance.
As between you and EditMyPet, and to the extent the law permits, you own any rights we may have in an output generated for you once it is created. This does not give you rights in someone else's material, our software or branding, or elements that the law does not protect. If you deliberately make an output public, submit it to a contest, or share it in a community feature, you also grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, reproduce, format, and promote that submission in connection with EditMyPet until you remove it or the applicable feature rules say otherwise. Cached and previously published promotional copies may remain for a reasonable period.
6. Acceptable Use
You must not use EditMyPet to:
- create, upload, or distribute unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, exploitative, sexual, or graphic content;
- exploit or sexualise a child, or create intimate imagery without the subject's consent;
- infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other rights;
- impersonate a person or misrepresent AI-generated material in a fraudulent or materially deceptive way;
- introduce malware, scrape without permission, overload, probe, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service;
- bypass moderation, token accounting, rate limits, access controls, or security measures;
- use bots or automated access except through an interface or permission we expressly provide; or
- use outputs to make high-impact decisions about a person, or for unlawful surveillance or biometric identification.
You can report content or conduct through our contact page. We may review, restrict, or remove material where reasonably necessary.
7. Tokens and One-Time Bundles
Tokens are limited, non-transferable digital credits used for eligible EditMyPet features. They are not money, a bank account, electronic money, a stored-value payment instrument, or redeemable for cash. Token costs are shown before a generation is submitted.
Token use is tracked against purchase-specific grants. Where you have more than one grant, the service normally uses the earliest-expiring active tokens first and then the oldest active tokens. Restoring your overall balance later does not make a previously used bundle unused again. Full details, exclusions, and the refund process are in the Token Purchase and Refund Policy.
8. Pet Club Memberships
Pet Club is an optional monthly subscription. The checkout screen states the price, currency, monthly token allowance, and billing interval. Unless cancelled, the membership renews automatically and our payment provider charges the saved payment method each billing cycle. Monthly tokens reset as described for the selected plan and do not form a refundable one-time bundle.
You may cancel future renewal at any time through the billing controls in your account or by contacting us. Unless the checkout or applicable law states otherwise, cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. Plan upgrades may begin a new billing cycle immediately; the price and effect are shown before confirmation. We will give reasonable advance notice of a price increase that affects a future renewal and explain how to cancel.
9. Digital Supply, Cancellations, and Statutory Rights
By completing a token purchase, you expressly request immediate supply of the digital tokens and acknowledge that a statutory 14-day cancellation right for digital content ends once supply begins. Our unused one-time token-bundle promise is more generous and continues for as long as that whole bundle remains unused.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. UK consumers have statutory rights where digital content or a digital service is faulty, not as described, or not supplied with reasonable care and skill. Depending on the circumstances, remedies may include repeat performance, repair, replacement, price reduction, or a refund. Contact us with the account email, order number, and problem.
10. Failed or Disputed Generations
A technical failure may trigger an automatic token restoration. If a completed result appears materially unusable because of a service fault, you may flag it for manual review. A flag does not automatically create a monetary refund. Depending on the facts and your statutory rights, we may restore a token, offer another generation, decline the request, provide a price reduction or refund, or take another appropriate step. Expected AI variation or a subjective style preference alone does not normally show that the service is faulty.
11. Contests, Galleries, and Referrals
Additional rules shown for a contest, offer, referral, prize, or community feature apply when you participate. Public submissions may show the generated image, display name, votes, ranking, and related information. Do not submit anything you do not want displayed publicly. We may remove votes, rewards, referrals, or submissions obtained through manipulation, duplicate accounts, fraud, or a breach of the applicable rules.
12. Service Changes, Suspension, and Closure
We may update the service, impose reasonable limits, or suspend a feature for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons. We may suspend or terminate an account where we reasonably believe these Terms have been materially breached, payment is fraudulent or disputed, or continued access creates risk. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a chance to appeal through support.
If we permanently discontinue a paid feature, we will honour applicable consumer rights and provide a reasonable remedy for affected paid entitlements. You may stop using the service at any time and may ask us to delete eligible account data under the Privacy Policy.
13. Third-Party Services
We use providers for hosting, authentication, storage, AI generation, payments, email, security, analytics, and content management. Their own terms may apply when you interact directly with them, such as a payment interface or third-party sign-in provider. We remain responsible for our obligations to you and do not use this section to exclude rights that the law gives you.
14. Disclaimers and Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or a particular artistic result. If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for your unlawful use, or for business losses where you use the service wholly or mainly for personal purposes.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, breach of statutory rights, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
15. Complaints and Disputes
Please contact us first so we can investigate. Include your account email and relevant order or generation ID, but never send full card details. Nothing here prevents a consumer from using a statutory complaint, regulator, alternative dispute resolution, or court process that is available to them.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms prospectively when the service or law changes. We will post the new date and give reasonable notice of a material change where appropriate. Changes will not remove an accrued right or retroactively change the refund terms that applied when you bought an existing one-time bundle. If a change materially affects a paid ongoing service, we will explain your options, including how to cancel.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this choice does not deprive you of mandatory protections under the law of the country where you normally live. Consumers in England and Wales may bring proceedings there; consumers in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their local courts. Other consumers may have a right to use their local courts.
18. Contact
Questions, cancellations, complaints, and legal notices can be sent through our contact page or to the email in the operator details above.
