Terms of Service

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service apply when you access or use EditMyPet, including our website, AI image generation tools, account features, contests, token purchases, and related services. By using EditMyPet, you agree to these Terms and to any policies referenced here, including our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

If you use EditMyPet on behalf of another person or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The Service

EditMyPet provides AI-assisted tools that transform uploaded pet photos into styled images, backgrounds, cards, and other creative results. AI results are probabilistic and may vary in quality, accuracy, style, resemblance, and suitability for your intended use.

We may add, change, suspend, or remove features from time to time. Some features may be experimental, rate-limited, region-limited, or available only to logged-in users.

3. Accounts and Eligibility

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You must provide accurate account information and promptly update it when needed.

You must be at least 13 years old to use EditMyPet. If the laws where you live require a higher age or parental consent for online services, you may use EditMyPet only if that requirement is met.

4. Uploaded Content and Generated Results

You are responsible for the photos, prompts, text, files, and other materials you submit to EditMyPet. You must have the permissions needed to upload and use that content with the service.

You allow us to host, copy, process, transmit, display, and create technical derivatives of submitted content and generated results as needed to operate, secure, support, improve, and provide EditMyPet. This permission includes using service providers that help us deliver features such as authentication, storage, payments, analytics, abuse prevention, email, and AI generation.

We may remove or restrict content if we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, creates legal or safety risk, infringes another person's rights, or could harm the service or its users.

5. Acceptable Use

You must not use EditMyPet to:

• upload content you do not have permission to use;
• create or distribute unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, exploitative, sexual, or graphic content;
• impersonate another person, mislead others, or create deceptive content without appropriate context;
• attempt to bypass token limits, rate limits, security controls, content moderation, or access controls;
• reverse engineer, scrape, overload, probe, or disrupt the service or its infrastructure;
• use automated systems in a way that harms service stability or circumvents intended product limits;
• use the service to infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights.

6. Tokens, Purchases, and Refunds

Tokens are digital credits used to access certain EditMyPet features. Tokens have no cash value, are not a bank account or stored-value payment instrument, and cannot be exchanged for money except where required by law.

Prices, token packages, promotional credits, usage costs, and feature availability may change. Promotional or free tokens may expire, be limited to certain features, or be removed if obtained through abuse.

Token purchases, promotional tokens, and used tokens are final and non-refundable by default. The standard product-side exception is the flagged generation review process described in this section. This does not limit any mandatory refund or consumer rights that apply by law.

If a paid generation appears to have failed, produced a materially unusable result because of a service issue, or otherwise needs review, you may flag that generation from within the product or contact support. Flagging a generation creates a review request; it does not guarantee a token credit, replacement, monetary refund, or other remedy.

Flagged generations are reviewed manually by EditMyPet admins. Admins may, at their discretion, approve a token credit, allow a replacement generation, decline the request, or take another action they consider appropriate. Admin review may consider the uploaded content, prompt, selected style, generation logs, prior refund history, suspected abuse, technical errors, and whether these Terms were followed.

We normally do not provide token credits or refunds for subjective style preferences, prompt choices, unsuitable uploaded images, expected AI variation, local device or browser issues, connection problems, expired promotional tokens, accidental use, or activity that breaches these Terms.

7. Contests, Sharing, and Community Features

EditMyPet may offer galleries, contests, leaderboards, referral features, or other community tools. Extra rules may apply to those features and will form part of these Terms when you use them.

If you submit content to a public or community feature, you understand that it may be visible to other users and visitors. Do not submit private information or content you do not want displayed publicly.

8. Third-Party Services

EditMyPet uses third-party services for functions such as authentication, hosting, payments, email delivery, analytics, consent management, image processing, AI generation, and security. Their services may be governed by their own terms and policies.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to EditMyPet if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for users or the service, used the service fraudulently, or caused legal, security, or operational concerns. You may stop using the service at any time.

10. Disclaimers

EditMyPet is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.

AI-generated results may contain mistakes, artifacts, unexpected elements, or similarities to other content. You are responsible for reviewing results before using, publishing, printing, or sharing them.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EditMyPet will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or unauthorised access caused by events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating the date above, displaying an in-product notice, or sending an email where appropriate. Your continued use of EditMyPet after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
